Lake Whatcom Treatment Center. Great for employees, bad for mental health treatment.

The treatment doesn't work for my housemate but for myself the care is good. I'm sorry. They don't look into him. I don't know how well today is. Please get his phone number and help.

I have been a client for a few years now and they have supported and helped me achieve goals I did not know if I would ever be able to do again.

Its a privately funded non profit organization, lisenced by DSHS.
Lake Whatcom Residential & Treatment Center has several levels of outpatient programs, a 67 bed mental health “Inpatient” residential facility, a 12 bed Adult Family Home and a 24 bed Co-Occurring treatment facility “Inpatient” (mental health along with substance use diagnosis).
Everything from med m.management and case management, to housing. As far as Mental Health providers that accept Medicaid and Medicare go, they are very respectable in comparison to most I have had the displeasure of dealing with.
Not sure this place is for everyone. I am very grateful to them, because I was in a very low place. With there help I went from homeless, jobless, and penny-less to living in a shared apartment that I contribute half of the rent for, having a good part time job, and getting in a better place financially. But I must say that you have to want it and put in some work too. They do not do it all for you and they may not even push you. But I have found they are very helpful in figuring out what they can do to help you achieve your goals. No one should waste their time but also no one should expect others to just fix all their problems for them. While we may not be able to help our disorder most of us are capable of growing and taking responsibility for ourselves. Hope this was helpful... Feel free to ask more questions and I will do my best to answer them.
