The comments shared are mostly true. Good prices etc. A book by its cover comes to mind as you enter however. The condition of the grocery carts and the garbage in the carts and on the floor makes me wonder if the rest of the store is really clean. The fact that the costumers are the problem is really not a excuse. The fact that your brand is on display as a costumer enter the store is. My advice is to clean up!!!

I am a Canadian shopping in Bellingham. I had been to Winco once previous to Covid, I was looking forward to shopping at this new to me grocery chain. I spent over an hour shopping and collected over $100.00 in groceries. Once I finished checking out my own groceries ( due to limited staff), my American Mastercard payment wouldn’t go through (same thing happened to the gentleman behind me (who was an American shopping with a credit card)). I asked for assistance & was told this chain does not accept “any” credit cards because the company doesn’t want to pay for the fee. Well Winco you’ve had to pay your grocery clerk more than that putting all of our groceries back on your shelves. I only shop in America with a credit card therefore I will not be returning to Winco.

Overall a good, cost effective grocery store. Checkout was fast. Note you do bag your own groceries, which we usually prefer.

It's been awhile since we last visited buy it's still a great place for shopping. Prices are good and the best thing is that you don't have to buy in bulk like Costco. They also have different brands that you can't buy in BC. Great to try different brands. Some of the products are priced same as in BC or when converted is a little but more. Overall a great store.

They have baked/deep fried chicken legs, thighs and breast, French fries and the usual stuff like salad, sliced roast beef, etc.
Yes but you have to ask they go quick . Also food pavilion has them in freezer section
Yes. Customer service, cheaper than fred Meyers
Not sure but lots of bulk candies and chocolate..maybe u can make them at home just buy bulk from Winco.
That's a good ? I'll have to look next time I'm here...

Yes
No. Unless you're MacGyver and can make a welding torch out of anything.
No. Bit you didn't say who or what he looks like. Bunch of guys there all the time
I love you guys and your questions ❤. I don't know but I can check I am actually headed there now. They have a fairly extensive assortment of food products but they are shortages due to covid so. Let me check.
I don't rember seeing any. I just picked up another extract yesterday and don't recall seeing any.
Sorry. I don't understand word salad.
I have no idea what you mean by a food container,my apologies for not knowing the lingo 😎
Hand sanitizer is also provided as well as plastic barriers between bagging areas, belts where food is placed is also wiped down
Didn't see any but wasn't looking honestly
No, but I'm not a rep for WinCo.
Not that I know of
They have a good selection of tofu!
Yes, they should carry wasp killing spray.
They usually Mark the in home baked goods. If they aren't, they do have cards that one can read
They have good prices end good and products
You would have to speak to Management about that
Never on Sunday
The deli is not open 24 hours. It closes about 9pm. I never worked there in the morning so I don't know what time it starts.
Estephanita, where you able to find any frozen sardines? Currently looking for some, for a Portuguese dinner.
I know that they had regular Rockstar. And I am not too sure about the diet. Sorry
I was there a couple hours ago as well. I don't remember the brands that they carry. They did have the one brand that is $2.00. The one with the $2.00 price on it's package.
If you're shopping at WinCo, then obviously you already understand something about "saving a few bucks". Of course they hire less staff to save a few bucks! The staff here are pretty much all kind and helpful, but yes the lines can be slower than the expensive places. This is a classic example of that saying, "Good, fast, cheap - pick two". WinCo is what happens when you pick "good" and "cheap" - the speed suffers. But it IS good, and it IS cheap. And you can go somewhere else if you want to. 🙂
Yes
They only have that in Tuesdays before 8:47am. After that just like Gremlins it transforms into cheese that doesn't taste like weapon grade plutonium
I agree they are a great store they have a large variety I've everything you could give them a call and ask.
I've never used hot chocolate with splenda or even heard of it. I would start looking in speciality stores like trader joes. Or a recipe to make your own. I've never seen it in WinCo.
No
Chicken gizzards and heart for sure. Not sure about liver.
It depends on what they get from their suppliers.
Yes
I don't believe they offer this service in-house, but you could definitely try looking up third party grocery shopping services who will go out and get your items
Yes they do. Everything you'll need, including a human to assist you is at their customer service/help-desk; Located just past the registers, between the two entrances :)
