Enjoyed our cabin at the Ouray KOA campground. Very beautiful area, I could of lived without the bear going through the trash can outside of the bathroom in the middle of the night being that I was alone, so I just locked myself in the stall until it was gone. Pretty scary, but hey it's all apart of the experience. One of the older female staff members who was working at the store in the morning was not the most pleasant, but all in all it was a good time.

June 24/25. They are under Coporate management takeover this year. They are trying hard. They seem to be over staffed is some areas and under in others. I like that they have music on the deck while I was there. The musicians were great but the same ones played two nights in a row. Should consider having different performers on Friday and Saturday nights.

New corporate ownership, has really gone downhill fast. Loved this place before, but now definitely can’t recommend. We reserved 4 sites as a group 6 months in advance, when we checked in that had moved us all around only two were next to each other. Hot tub was filthy and not hot. Restaurant was out of everything on the menu but two items. Our camp site was very dusty, and all the grass was dead. The staff sad that when corporate came in they took all the reservations and moved them all around. We had a nice lady try to help as best she could. Give it two stars for the still friendly staff.

Awesome place to stay. I stayed here in my converted van a few nights. I really appreciate the clean bathrooms, clean grounds, peaceful little creek running through the property, LAUNDRY, nice people and yummy food. They even have jeeps to rent there which I will be doing soon!!

This forum doesn't connect you with the koa staff. It's just for asking other Google reviewers for inside "scoops". It shouldn't be a problem finding a Jeep, although it may be cheaper to rent off-site.
I think so if Colorado is not under a open fire band.
Yes. They have a trout pond. You have to pay per fish. No catch and release.
Even if they don't have it available right now I would recommend you to keep calling and checking or trying to book a online cuz the sides might become available few weeks prior. We actually booked a group of us for trailer spots and some of us may end up canceling. We have two weeks prior to cancel so keep that in mind that people may end up canceling and spots might become available even two weeks prior to that. So I would definitely keep calling from 4 to 2 weeks prior and you might get lucky.
You may just call and speak to the owner, that might be the most effective point of contact
We are at the KOA camping...about $50 per night... excellent facility
