Prices are high and I don't know of that is the norm there but it makes it hard to commit to it. All my purchases are from a budget and I look for the best deals everywhere. There are items that had affordable prices.

I love Bayview! I have been going there to grab lunch and ice cream while downtown walking the docs since I was a kid, and now so have my kids! However, I was a bit disappointed during my last trip to the deli. I appreciate that the pandemic has forced some changes to normal operations, but not having the cashier in the deli area was really burdensome. There were a few of us ordering, and we were given different directions as to when and where to pay for our food, ( which is now at the check stands up front.) Some of us were told simply to pay up front and went upstairs with what they thought was direction to simply pay on our way out, while others were literally yelled at for following those who already had their food and headed upstairs rather than paying first. Also, because food comes out at different times, cold vs. hot etc. (as it is lovingly being made fresh as its ordered), and then having to take all of the food up front so that it can be individually scanned and wait in grocery check out lines to pay first left us unable to eat together, and left some with cold food as the wait times at check out varied. It was much more streamlined with the checker in the deli area. However, if that isn't feasible right now, I think it would help immensely to give the customer an "invoice" of their full order when it is taken so that they can pre-pay while the food is being prepared. I think it could alleviate much of the frustration for both customer and deli staff. I hope that Bayview can work that checker position back into the business model soon - or, at minimum, implement a simple work around as suggested above. My sandwich was freaking amazing by the way.🤘 R.P.

Love coming here. Great natural foods. Always a good experience. Lovin' it. Like the views and plants. Upstairs is a good meeting room to have meetings or business. Love the water especially and the crew is always super helpful. Thank you. Blessings to all that have worked there. Keep up the great motivation.
