My brother and I were initially planning to camp out on Friday, and had a hotel reservation elsewhere for Saturday and Sunday. However, as our dinner went late, we realized camping was not in the cards, and sought a place to stay for the night. We happened upon Majestic View Lodge, and were both impressed by the quality and price it offered. The front desk was friendly, and the room was great (even had a balcony looking out at Zion!) In the future, this will be our go-to spot for staying at Zion, as the quality of the stay was better than that at the significantly more expensive hotels further down the road. The only downside to staying here is you’re a bit further from the park (a 5-10 minute ride, vs. 2-5 further down the road) - but this also means you’ll always get a spot (as it’s the first stop)! Overall, highly recommend.

Easy and convenient for Zion, these rustic style lodge apartments are perfectly situated at the end of the Zion bus line. Room and pool with views, clean and comfortable and no complaints. Tried to check in early due to timing, wasn't able to because of demand...so understandable. Front desk courteous and helped with local questions. Would recommend.

We stayed 3 nights in this very lovely lodge. It is at the beginning of Springdale but right at the shuttle bus that takes you right into Zion. Our room overlooked the mountains with a lovely deck. Super Clean and has a laundry!!! Really enjoyed our stay here. Ben who was the morning person at the desk was extremely helpful. The women in the afternoon were very knowledgeable about restaurants. We loved the Spotted dog and Kings Landing. Sol market makes great sandwiches for hiking without having to wait on long lines. PS Don't try to park in the Zion park if its after 9. It fills in fast. The shuttle bus was great.

Amazing view. Hot tub with a view. The lodge has a really cool free museum of stuffed wild animals from bears, a moose, antelope and much more. The restaurant had an amazing steak, service a little slow but great views. Bed comfy. Lots of stairs if your upstairs. Basic bathroom. Over a great location and stay!

Questions & Answers

How long is the drive from the lodge to Zion National Park?

Short drive 5-10 minutes. I would suggest taking the free shuttle. Stop 9 is directly in front of the lodge and it takes you to the park. It runs about every 10 to 15 minutes. They have a couple of hikes from the the park entrance. One is the watchman and pi'rus ( not sure of spelling). They are both a little over a mile. Watchman has good views of the watchman mountain. Major landmark angels landing is very strenuous. The narrows would be good (if open) you can walk as far as you like. Weeping rock would be a great choice its really short. When you get to the park they will give you a paper with all the hikes and descriptions.

About 4ft in the shallow and about 6ft in the deep. Kid friendly for sure.

If you have ever been to a ski community it is similar. No 5 stars in the area but this is better then most. It was clean and had a laundry area.
