Great diner in downtown Altoona. We had Pancakes, omelettes, French toast, sausage and toast. Everything was great! Service was quick and friendly too.

This is a great local place. We stopped in for breakfast yesterday and it was so good we went back again today. Between the five of us we had French toast, pancakes, eggs, bacon and home fries and everything was excellent. The home fries were among the best we’ve had. Everyone working in the place was hustling and working hard including the owner who was behind the counter cooking and coordinating all the plates coming out. We’ll definitely be back next time we are in town.

One of my favorite spots around for post-run brunch! There is plenty of parking around, and it’s within walking distance from the Wyndham hotel downtown. Service and food is always consistent and fast, and my coffee cup is never empty. Try their home fries if that’s your thing, they’re delicious!! Definitely the most consistent “traditional” breakfast spot in town, and you can’t beat the prices.

Hello Everyone...we have not been sold. We are however making some welcome changes that everyone will appreciate. So far we have implemented a new menu, added new beverage machines with improved juices and the addition of lemonade. Next change will be announced within the next couple of weeks.
Yes they have a new ramp for wheelchairs. As for parking they have a small lot behind the restaurant bit it is tight for a van with lift. It's downtown so there is metered parking during the week. In the weekend there is a city parking lot that you can use that would work for the van however its not usable during the week
Yes they accept american express
It is between 18th street and the cathedral. One or two blocks behind the Gables building.
I think they do
