Borders on literal theft. Never got the results of my hearing in the mail, they were not forwarded to my new address like ALL of my other mail was. I did NOT select to receive snail mail results, who even does that now? And the lady at the phone is a soulless and useless. Now i have late fees I have to pay that are triple the cost of the original ticket, which is also misquoted as $25, which I would have paid, when the original ticket was $50. Now I owe $70.

I've gotten 2 tickets in the past month. One for parking on campus on a weekend, even though I have parked here before and it has been free. Got another ticket a few days ago for parking in front of my house and according to the citation there were "no parking" signs. No one on my street follows these signs. They give out more permits than spaces available. Quick to take your money and hard to get a hold of. Thankful to be moving out of the city in a few months and won't have to deal with them. Ever.

Big conspiracy. I pulled into a parking space. My passenger could not get out because a bicycle was locked on a pole. At this moment the meter maid snapped a photo of my license plate. I told her we just got her and I may have to move. At that point the owner of the bicycle came over to move it and I went to put money in the parking machine. Two months later I get a "2nd notice" violation. I had not received a first one. I had to go explain in court what had transpired. Big conspiracy or unethical meter maids. My opinion.

Ask the parking lot attendant for assistance
Yes and you only have two days to pay the appeal amount if there is an amount to pay.
There used to be but now there are no more meters. Instead you pay with credit or debit card or coins at a box on the street.
