I filed dispute yesterday and I was told would take 90 days to get my money to my account. Customer service very rude. I'm going to close my account.

Unfortunately, I am going to have to close my accounts with PNC. It seems in the last year, they have greatly reduced their staffing. I've waited in the drive-through for an hour on 2 separate occasions. Several months ago, I had an extremely frustrating interaction with the lady who worked in the office. After waiting 15 minutes in the lobby, she told me to go home and call customer service! I explained to her I'd already been on the phone with customer service but she said it was a simple issue and refused to help me. 2 weeks ago, I went in to withdraw $5000. I know you have to call ahead now for large cash withdraws but they did not answer the phone the 3 times that I called. The man before me was asking to withdraw $4000 but was told he could only have a portion and then go to another local PNC for the remaining amount. The man was irritated and left because he was trying to purchase a car that day & needed the down payment. I was selfishly grateful because that meant I could get the full $5000 since they did not give it to him. Wrong! I was told I could have half but I would have to go to another local PNC to get the remaining half. Also,, the teller explained to me they are purposely keeping small amounts of cash on hand essentially to save money as they have to pay fees on any unused cash in the bank. This tells me, PNC is knowingly inconveniencing their customers daily to save themselves money.

This branch is very poorly organized and ran. I wanted to add an account holder to my current account. I called and scheduled an appt due to the pandemic. I made sure to ask what I needed to bring in order for this person to be added to my account because they didn't initially tell me that we needed two forms of photo ID. Showed up at my scheduled time and they had no record of my appointment. Thankfully, they took me anyway and were able to set up my joint account with little to no headache. They promised to order a second debit card. I called today and no one ever ordered it. Glad I am on top of things enough to make sure I didn't have a more negative experience.

Order Euros for an upcoming trip to Italy, went to go pick them up on the last day they said they would definitely have them by only to find out they never actually sent the order in. Lady was rude and didn’t seem to care, leaving the country tomorrow so wish us luck on trying to find currency without a crazy conversion charge. You know, the whole reason we thought ahead and ordered from our bank? Super annoying. Both gentlemen that attempted to help were very kind though.
