Traffic is usually light or not at all so this park is appropriately called a quiet place. The Bigleaf Maple and evergreens are spectacular specimens to view along the short trail around this park. Clean and safe for all skill levels. There is a bench situated over a viewpoint on the edge of the Saltair Bluffs , no restrooms or picnic tables.

Coming from Nebraska - this place is GORGEOUS. If you love ferns and beautiful tall mossy trees... it’s a BEAUTIFUL walk. So quiet and peaceful. 100% recommend for a quick break to enjoy some nature.

Nice short hike close to downtown Kingston. It’s all uphill if you’re walking from downtown but quiet road. Hike is about a mile but has a nice view of the water and a couple of benches to sit down.

Close to the Ferry Terminal, for a short walk in the woods. Did the .5. Mile outter loop trail and some little side loops in less than half an hour. Fun views through the trees of the Cascade Mtns, Mt Rainier & Puget Sound.

The entrance ia on a steep, long hill but it's pretty flat inside the park itself.
