I use to do the early morning delivery to this post office and I have to say it was one of my favorite places to go in and chat for a moment while dropping off and then heading out to my next stop. Some of the staff met my adopted pup Charlie and we occasionally chatted about my kid. I hope all of you are doing well, Anna, Maria, Tara and Shamus. ✌💚🐕🦺📦

Staff was extremely helpful and very friendly, plus the building itself is awesome. Go to the top floor to check out the view and the little post office museum on the ground floor is worth a look as well.

This 1893 Romanesque stone building is exquisite. Built to accommodate a potential big railroad city. Luckily, that scenerio failed and we are left with the most charming town and historical architecture in the Olympic Peninsula.

The Port Townsend post office normally has a waiting list for PO boxes. We only had to wait a couple of weeks for ours. But that was five years ago.
That happened to us a couple years ago with a relief driver. I caught him one time and told him personally, and it stopped.
