Other places advertise that they can remove household junk inexpensively. I contacted one place for pricing that had bins like Waste Management. NOTHING compares to the value received from Waste Management. It isn't cheap, but it is well worth the price and definitely less expensive than any other junk removal service. You cannot go wrong using WM!!

We have the best trash removal people! They are incredibly reliable, on time and careful picking up all extra trash. They stop to wave at kids at to me when walking wiht my dog! Often, after leaving them a small treat, they will bring the cans all the way up my driveway to my garage! How lucky we are to have such careful workers! We so appreciate all that they do!

I have lived all over the country and have never experienced such a disappointing and frustrating trash service. Ever. I'm not sure I even recall having a SINGLE missed service in my entire life until I moved to Kingston, and it happens every month, whether it be recycling or trash. We're allowed "double" the trash this week, but where am I supposed to put it in the meantime? I have trash bags sitting in my driveway getting ravaged by wind and animals that I now have to clean up. I am beyond frustrated, and every time I see my money go to Waste Management I wonder what I'm even paying for. The fact that there is no alternative makes me incredibly angry. Why even bother with a survey when you have no incentive to change anything? You'll continue to take my money and pick and choose when you even complete the services you're being paid for. It's robbery. You should be refunding your customers for EVERY missed pickup. If I had an alternative, I'd cancel my service in a heart beat.

We've been customers of Waste Management at 3 different residences across our nearly 15 years in Western Washington. Boy do I wish we had a choice for our garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection company. In Kirkland and Duvall the service was okay (once our recycling can was lost inside the truck, and they didn't tell me until I called wondering what happened to it). But our last 7 months in Redmond have been a nightmare. When we set up service at our current residence the extra recycling can and yard waste cans we ordered were never delivered, but we were billed for them at the first billing cycle and I had to call and sort that out. Communication about pickup delays or cancellations is slow and vague, especially with the snow. Usually we don't hear about delays until after the cans are all out at the curb (since they remind you to have them out early!). More than once we've been emailed with a "pickup delay" message and then the trucks come through anyway, causing residents to miss their pickup. The Dec 2021 snow left us holding onto garbage and recycling for multiple extra weeks even though the roads were passable after the first missed pickup. My recent order of a second yard waste can was delayed for two additional weeks, and then today I was given 2 extra cans, necessitating another contact to WM to get them to pickup the extra can (which they won't til next week, of course-- can't inconvenience those drivers!). Apparently they had been short on containers (but never told me, just kept pushing back delivery), and now they got it wrong again. Apologies are always the standard "we're sorry for the inconvenience", which really does nothing to make right their series of missteps and apparent indifference to good service or customer satisfaction. And did I mention they drive fast? I always keep my young kids from riding their bikes or scooters through the neighborhood on pickup day since the drivers are hauling down the road. Not a satisfied customer here.
