First, i will say that the Nurse was good. Have been waiting for test results for so long I've already gotten a bill from labcorp... obviously the work has been done, but the portal still says No Test Results, and I couldn't get anywhere on the phone today... there was a ticket created and somebody was supposed to call me, but they had 5 hours before close, and a call back hasn't happened yet. To simply see what their records say and tell me the test results. This is what all government systems I've dealt with are like.

They have broken HIPPA with my account several times and do not believe them when they or any other documents say they are confidential with your doctor. The doctors freely share your personal information with the receptionist staff. More people need to submit complaints about this office as I have been told I cannot pursue legal action with my statement alone.

Hi Kathy, the day(s) doses arrive and that a provider can make appointments available varies from provider-to-provider. I would suggest you pick a couple of providers to target - possibly a health system/provider and a pharmacy, and use those as your check points from time to time. We anticipate it will take 11 1/2 weeks for the 65+ population to receive their first dose of vaccine within the counties served by Central District Health (Ada, Boise, Elmore, and Valley).Currently, our district is allotted anywhere from 6,000-7,000 doses a week. Please keep in mind that just because a provider's website is not showing appointments far out into the future does not mean that appointments for the near future won't be added. They add appointments as doses are received or anticipated for receipt that week. Disclosure: I am an employee with Central District Health's public information group.
That happened to me too! Try an urgent care facility.
Hi Ann, I am an employee with Central District Health. Thank you for your question. Per the state's current vaccine plan (as of today, 1/21/21), those 65+ will be eligible to receive vaccine in Idaho starting Feb. 1, 2021. Currently, Group 1 and Subgroup 2.1 are eligible to receive vaccine per the state's plan. You can learn more about the state's vaccine plan at this link: https://coronavirus.idaho.gov/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Prioritization-Groups-1-and-2-FINAL.pdf. CDH will be sharing a list of enrolled vaccine providers receiving vaccine, and we anticipate that people in Subgroup 2.2 and beyond, will seek vaccine through major health systems and pharmacies. While CDH has an extensive list of enrolled vaccine providers, because of limited vaccine volumes coming into our district, there are only a handful of health systems/groups receiving vaccine allotments at this time. That will shift when more vaccine is allotted to our state and jurisdiction.

Hi Jane - Thanks for your question. The DEQ's website includes information on water bodies throughout Idaho with health advisories in place. www.deq.idaho.gov/recreation-health-advisories. CDH also has a HAB web page for any advisories in place within its jurisdiction of Ada, Boise, Elmore, and Valley Counties which can be found here: https://www.cdh.idaho.gov/eh-habs.php. [response provided by CDH employee]
Hi Jeff, Family Medicine Health Center should be able to help with your health need. I work for Central District Health and we are not currently providing care for this particular need. https://www.fmridaho.org/patients/
Unfortunately, I am only seeing your question now (post-January!) CDHD does not offer travel immunizations to adults. For a list of providers in the Treasure Valley that offer adult travel immunizations, please visit our website: https://www.cdhd.idaho.gov/hl-immunizations-adults-referrals.php
Hi Vicky, private pools like those in a health club are not regulated by public health departments in Idaho (they are self-regulated). However, we do inspect public pools. If you have a concern to report, please give us a call at 208-327-7499.
Our food-related forms can be found at the link below. We encourage you to call our Environmental Health Division to talk with one of our representatives about the process: 208-327-7499. https://www.cdhd.idaho.gov/eh-food-forms.php
If you have concerns regarding an experience you had with Central District Health Department, please call us at 208-375-5211. If you are looking to report Child Abuse or Public Assistance Fraud, please visit the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare website and look for the "Report" buttons: https://healthandwelfare.idaho.gov/default.aspx
Yes, we do! You can learn more at https://www.cdhd.idaho.gov/eh-php-mrc
