Ordered a part that was to be on the daily truck. It was a radio adapter. Spent 3 hours on a client's car disassembling the dash and prepping for the install. Went to pick up my part and they claimed it was on the invoice but not in the shipment. As someone who at one time worked for a major auto parts retailer I have to say the level of service was disappointing. There had been many opportunities to rectify this situation. When I worked for the "hub" for a major auto retailer, if a part didn't make the truck we would have contacted the store who ordered it. It seemed they didn't even check to see if it was in the box. Walking into the store with 3 employees 2 of which were watching a "true crime" video on their phones while one person was waiting on everyone. There was another person behind me waiting to be helped and the others didn't step up to help. At one point the only employee working had to ask the others to do my transaction because they ordered the part (that never showed up). Not once did they offer to rectify the situation. No offer to ship the part to the home or check availability elsewhere. Basically they said "it should be here tomorrow at 430. So now I have to leave the car in pieces or put it back into it's original configuration and lose an entire day of work. Not a pleasant experience.

These guys are so knowledgeable and very helpful no matter the situation. I called the other day and talked to Tim. I told him I needed a die kit to rethread an axel end so the new spindle nut would go on. It’s kind of big at 22mm. He looked and said they didn’t have anything that big, but instead of hanging up, he suggested that Harbor Freight might have something that big. And THEN he told me that if I couldn’t find one, to call him back and he would help me find one. I was so thankful and pleasantly surprised by his helpfulness and personable demeanor. So I called harbor Freight and they happened to have ONE kit left in stock with the right size die I needed which i rushed out to grab. I called back and talked to Kenny and told him I indeed find the tool I needed thanks to Tim’s suggestion. He said he very much appreciated the call back and the feedback. I had never been to an O’Reilleys in my life but I’ll be back here for sure! UPDATE, I did go back and Brian helped me find the perfect LED shop light so my husband could actually see what he was doing. Thanks again guys!
