I'm sure they preach a great message! God is ALWAYS good. This place is looking big enough to be a faith based campus for the education system that the state would accept as able to employ a Dean; all the students would make the list! Don't forget to use the sidewalks. The parking lot doesn't need it's camera space being used to watch anymore people walk the lower half of the parking space. Watch out for the red truck with the canopy also! Lower half equals the parking spaces under the stairs; at the bottom after you have successfully walked down them. I'm no Elijah but the brook would never dry up here with the sprinklers that are in place. π€π€π

I finished my service in the military in Washington State as a Saint Mike's parishioner, then moved my family to the East Coast where I had a job waiting and relatives nearby. Then we realized that we couldn't find another parish that inspired us the way Saint Mike's did, so we moved all the way back again! Of particular value to us was the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a Montessori-based program for our young children. The other thing I like about Saint Mike's is that is has all types of Catholics, from the traditionalist ones wearing veils to those who participate in "Catholic yoga". Our priests and other parish leadership do a great job keeping us all focused on what's important. I have also been impressed by Saint Mike's work with Financial Peace University (Dave Ramsey program) and it's various volunteer ministries (homeless shelter, prison ministry, St Vincent de Paul - just check the web page). The church is welcoming and non-judgmental. Its Seeking Alpha program is especially for people who are maybe just considering an openness to a relationship with God. There's really something for everyone. Oh, and the 9:30 Sunday Mass is great for families with small children; all the other parishioners are very supportive of those of us with multiple noisemakers. UPDATE: Had to remove a star during the era of Trump and the pandemic. Things got a little less comfortable, a little more awkward. But I guess the same goes for all of society.

Amazing church, father Lou and Jim give great homilies! The beauty of the church and the liturgy truly allow you to be joined in Christ and his divine life. Also the people here are super nice and welcoming so stop by for mass if you are interested or questioning.

Hi Greg! Confessions are scheduled Saturdays 2-4pm at the downtown church (1055 Boundary St SE, Olympia)! You can always call the parish office to arrange confession as well!
Only the chapel. And there are Mass at twelve o'clock
No
I would contact or parish office. We are always happy for volunteers. The men's homeless shelter happens in the evenings some days of the week. Perhaps you could ask the office about that and they can get you in contact with the organizer.
