Don't trust their "drive up & go" shopping service. I ordered 1 large veggie mix- they gave me 2 small mixes costing more money. I ordered sugar free coffee creamer- they gave me Lactose free, fat free, sugar-sweetened creamer. ...I was not notified of the substitutions when I picked up, even though I asked if any were made. I only discovered when I was putting the groceries away at home (across town).

I love Safeway they always have what I need and the name brands that I love and they also have the stuff that's hard to find in other stores. Good all together.

The deli at this location is horrible, the worst in the Salem/Keizer area. There is absolutely no customer service and/or motivation by any of the staff that work in that department. I feel like me asking for lunch meat is a huge inconvenience to there day. This is the third time within a month that I have either stood patiently waiting for 10 to 20mins and not been acknowledged or turning me away because things have not been cleaned, or because they are short staffed so they closed just the sell of lunch meet.

They do a great job of keeping the place impeccably clean. Their departments are dialed-in, most notably the floral shop which could go toe-to-toe with any florist in town as far as fresh, quality flowers go any maybe win. The deli takes forever to dish up food or cut meat, but they are warm and friendly while doing it. You know, the little things. ..
