Extra Space Storage

Started as Extra Space Storage. I have a lease with the new company, Public Storage that bought the original company out at this location. My rent went up without any notice. I'm currently looking for another unit at a different company. Yes the place is clean but come on people, not even a year and rent went up. In the second month I rented Public Storage took over. If I acted to go to Public Storage I would have chosen a closer location to my apartment.

Convenient location, clean place, friendly service however buyer BEWARE! rates have multiple hidden fees. I’ve been around long enough and been screwed by enough company’s to know when to cut out. They make you buy insurance WHAT!! your place is insured, that’s called overhead it should be built in, whats next a toilet paper surcharge in case you use the restroom? Administration fee?? WHAT the heck is that? Just add a few and call it “administration”, every business has admin fees…. Again it’s called “overhead” it’s like McDonald’s charging you for uniforms the employees have to wear. And you have to “rent” in addition to everything else a special lock designed special for their special roll up doors, you can’t use the lock you already own oh no that’s cutting into their lock rental business. My spidy senses told me to get out of there and look elsewhere. I asked about rental agreement but couldn’t get a straight answer, I’m sure that’s another way they pinch you when you try to cancel or vacate that’s when the 18 page fine print contract comes out !! NO THANKS. NICKLE & DIME TO DEATH in the end I voiced these concerns the person working there said “believe me your not the first person to say this!”

Amazing service, very clean and just an overall nice experience. I’m not good with names but the woman that runs the office is extremely nice and helpful.

I originally rented my storage unit with Extra Space, but then public storage bought them out. It is such a clean and nice facility. Never had any issues. I only needed my unit for about a year, and I just moved out. I moved out last night, and today (I did not even have to call them to cancel my month-to-month contract) they called me. Such an easy process!
