Phyllis, Thank you for your question. Mary Lou's Garden was started several years ago during Summer Reading as a project. It gives kids and parents alike a way to learn to care for and raise a garden. The library weighs the veggies and allows anyone who wants fresh veggies to have some. The first two years we raised 500 lbs each year! Please stop in for a tour.
