Usually love this place. Until a employee took it upon herself to admonish me about my dog publicly in front of staff and customers...("not cool, Karen"). It was pouring rain (when I got there), one window was open about 4 inches. He had a cold water bowl, a fan on him in the backseat and parked under a huge tree. I was in store 30 min. I was attempted to abort already cut fabric, but I didn't. We travel through the US and FREQUENTLY stop here, and that is our routine, as stated above. I appreciate "Karen's " concern of the welfare of my dog, but she could've been more discreet and professional

This is a nice quilting store. Its not budget friendly but has really great high quality choices. Sometimes the employees are grouchy and sometimes they are really nice. If you are looking for modern choices like Art Gallery Fabrics, they do not carry them. I wish they carried Guterman thread as Aurifil is so expensive. Great selection of wild kaffe fassett fabrics. They do not carry a lot of notions. No pearl cotton thread.

They only carry 100% cotton quilting fabrics. They specialize in Kaffe Fassett designs and Judy Niemeyer paper-piecing patterns, but have about 8,000 bolts of cotton quilting fabric. They also offer classes at a retreat center nearby.
I assume you are asking if they repair sewing machines. No, they do not. They can probably refer you to someone who can, nowever.

I do not believe they carry the heat resistant batting you are asking for. I had to order mine on the Internet. They carry mostly cotton, cotton/poly, and polyester batting in sizes from Craft through king size in white and natural. If you want black, you must order it.
