First visit was at the Pickerington office for my 89 y/o father-in-law. The PA thought the skin lesions were an infection. Ran 2 courses of antibiotics and no results. Finally saw the Dr. (weeks later) and she took 2 biopsies. Thought it was a reaction to medication. Strong steroid used externally. Called the office today to see what is going on with the second biopsy (again, weeks later). Was told they had just gotten the second biopsy back on the 1st and will review it as soon as they can and get back with us. This is the 4th. 3 days to review a biopsy that took a month to get results for? The Dr. that saw him twice suddenly works out of the Dublin office an hour and a half away from us. No idea when anything else is going to be done and no satisfactory results yet. They are probably excellent for Botox injections but if you have anything serious you might want to consider going to a real doctor. If I didn't already have months of time invested in this I would never go back. I thought I was signed into my Google account to post this. I am Robert Reeves and my Father-In-Law is Rodney Backus. I'm certainly not trying to hide under the anonymity of the Internet. Update : We went to a real dermatologist in February. The nurse practioner simply LOOKED at the crusty sores on my father-in-law and asked if these guys had said anything about Lichen Planus. He requested the blood work from them and confirmed the diagnosis in one visit. We are now on our way to healing. What a waste of time.
