Ben was fantastic! He was very patient with me for I was unaware of a required $200 deposit. He waited until I could make arrangements with my bank. Thank you, Ben. Ben had my rental minivan ready to go. I went through AAA and I will do so again. As AAA had informed me, picking up the minivan at the Renaissance Hotel was much cheaper than renting at John Wayne Airport (SNA). Thanks again, Ben!

Worst car rental experience I’ve ever had. Showed up on time because I had appointments scheduled accordingly and they didn’t have the requested car and wanted me to wait. They even wanted me to pay more if I wanted any other car right away even though the delay was on their end. Receptionist was very rude and unhelpful. I will never book with Hertz again.

Professional and courteous staff, a little hidden for location. Pricing was very good, cars, cleansiness, and process was easy. Would book there again. 👍😊🍀

Booked a vehicle a month before I would be in California. Got a confirmation email the day before we flew out. Landed at John Wayne the morning of 12/26 and went straight to the hotel to check-in only to find out that there are 0 cars to available in the area. I was then told that he could take my number but there's "like at least 20 people in line ahead of you...so..." Gee, thanks. I then called Hertz who not only never apologized but suggested that I get to Burbank to try to find a car - how would I do that without a car? There was never any follow up call or email over the next 3 days I was there to me to let me know if a vehicle was available. I had to cancel so many plans for our vacation because we were no longer able to get around the area like we had planned. I spent over $200 on Ubers/Lyfts and had to take the train to meet friends in LA. The complete lack of service or accountability by Hertz was absolutely unacceptable and I will never ever use them again, let alone let any friends or family use them. Totally garbage experience. *Update* The weak copy and paste response from "Bob the Owner" on every horrible review should tell you every thing you need to know about the professionalism of this location. You hope I will give you another chance to provide me with a positive experience? And what exactly would encourage me to do that considering you never once reached out to me after completely dropping the ball the 1 time I tried to use Hertz? Not a chance, Bob.
