How the heck are you supposed to contact them if the phone number provided is not working or in service? Have little to no faith in the department of licensing as a whole. Been getting the run around from every department. No one wants to help, says it it is someone's else's job. Call the next number and get the same thing. Huge issues with the system.

I just had a simple question about signing up for drivers permit lady in charge of front door was being rude didn't look like she wanted to help I think some people need to retire

Very pleasant experience in comparison to using the Bellingham office. Made an appt to renew my CDL and after answering a few questions and paying the bill out with a new Driver license good till 2028.

we were sent here from the bellingham DOL where they set up an appointment for my partner to take her written test and get her license, but apparently the DOL’s don’t communicate very well because they don’t do written testing here. they also refused to schedule another appointment for her to get her license and pay her fees for after she got her written test. the workers were very rude and pushed her to the point of tears and refused to help to any capacity of even though all she was asking to do at that point was set up another appointment for after she took her written test (for the second time due to the extension ending on december 31st). they were very rude and unhelpful and didn’t even provide her with other resources.

Can I make an appt. For tomorrow Friday
First time or renewal is $54. Replacement of non-expired is $20.
No, this office does not process car tabs, titles, handicap placards, or do anything else vehicle related.
As long as you have the right paperwork you get a temporary copy right then. You will get your card in 1-2 weeks. I don't think you can use your temp to go into Canada? Not sure on that...
The licensing Dept. Is doing walk in or by appointment. I don't know about a phone number but you can contact them online.
You can but they do appointments first. They are taking walk ins now.
Yes but appointments are seen first.
What I did was stake them out when they were coming into work. Other than that they still get paid for no contact, so they really don't care. Good luck.
Appt only. but while I was waiting for someone to answer the phone, someone in the building did come out and help me out.
Had a pleasant experience.
You'll have to pre-apply online on their website and make an appointment. Be sure to bring all required documents (and a mask).
You have to have an appointment.
You need to call them
Schedule an appointment ment far away from where you live they'll call you and reschedule it to the mv one got me in in like 2 days
Appointment only right now
You need an appointment. You can schedule online or call. Last I checked, appointments are about a month out at the Mount Vernon location.
You have to go online to make appointment, that's all they will allow. Stand at the door wear mask 😷 some one will greet you.
Is there a phone number that someone will answer at the Mt. Vernon office so I can make an appointment? The number I called just Giles to a menu and no one to talk to. Thanks In advance
By appointment only
Not fully. We are not doing face to face appointments. Lab is open 8-3. Every thing else is case by case. Don't walk in. Please call
Some are. Call the 800 number to find hours. Smokey Point was open 10-4 M-F
I did it online, it came in the mail yesterday actually https://www.dol.wa.gov/onlinesvcs.html
a state ID, a passport with mail or a birth certificate.
There are many different documents we accept for identification, but the easiest for sometime under 25 is a birth certificate and a parent with an ID/License
I was able to take every test I needed for my class A cdl, except for the road test, at this location.
45 dollars and up, depending on how long it has been expired. All this information is on the Washington state Dept. Of Licensing website.
Two forms of ID and about $100.
Should be $54 for your drivers license. Plates should be $85, you'll have to pay for tabs/registration and that price depends on how old your car is.
