The people who work there are very helpful

I've been a blood donor for almost 10 years, and this is the most consistent place for me. I'm a notoriously hard stick but there is always someone working who knows their way with a needle (even if it does need to go in at a weird angle). Everyone is always helpful and the place is clean. I usually make an appointment the day before but they allow walk-ins.

Maybe, you might have to wait a few
No. It's a donation.
No. you need at least 7 days between red blood cells and platelets.
At this time yes, you need an appointment. Precovid you didn't need an appointment.
No
They don't pay you for a product donation. You do receive points for their system rewards portal. But platelets is generally a more timely donation so you usually get more points for platelets vs. Whole blood donation.
They are closed on Tuesday and I think every other Sunday. Donating whole blood is pretty quick, but alternatively you can donate platelets, red blood cells or all the components which can take longer. Go to the website and click on donate it will take you to a calendar page. From here you can make an appointment. For whole blood donations a lot of times you can just walk in. When you register with them you're inducted into something called donor advantage which gives you points for donations. Eventually the points can be cashed in for gift cards or items - like you would get for points on a credit card. You could also donate these points.
They don't give out money for donations it's a point system. I believe they are closed Wednesday but check their hours on their website maybe there is a blood drive or a different center you can go to.
