It’s ok but I find it’s mostly for very old 75 to 95 no pool or club house nothing for us can’t even put out table and chairs or electric grill not really for someone 60 Long Island rent high that’s why I tried here speed bumps horrible especially if you drive over them four times a day I guess it would be ok if you like very quiet don’t work and don’t go outside of your home for days oppressive atmosphere

Not sure when you posted this question but I am replying in 2021. I live in JWV-II and have for the past 4 years. There are 2 main amenities that are included in our rent, Electric & Water. I have seen many residents in both JWV I & II abuse these amenities. I have seen people hook up water hoses to the outside spigot to water their flowers and even wash their cars. These things are NOT allowed in the lease and the money for that water has to come from somewhere since the outside water sources are the responsibility of JWV. I have also seen people hook up outside lighted holiday decorations to the outside electric outlets. This is ALSO not allowed under the lease and becomes another responsibility of JWV. Keep in mind, we ALL wind up paying for the people that abuse the agreement in the way of rent increases every year. There are currently only 2 maintenance people to handle calls for both JWV-I & II, Al & Jose and the few times we needed them, they were nice and on time.

I live in JWV-II. There is a Community pool at the border of JWV-I & II at the Community Bldg. In II, we have "in the wall" AC units. No central air. I was told if you like, maintenance will install room to room vents for a fee. We just close the doors to unused rooms and the AC works fine. The AC units that are in the wall (If they have one available) are VERY old and not energy efficient. We bought a new one after living here 3 years. Made a BIG difference to the electric bill!!
In JWV-II, we have Tub/Shower combos.
It depends where your unit is, I have one bedroom corner unit in John Wesley 2 1,145. The low income is section 8 I think.
