I went to talk to the manager but before I can get through the door I was met with some rude guy who claims he worked there. This rude gentleman claims Dave the trainer was with a client and No one was in the office at 11:30am on a Wednesday. I have never been to a bad anytime before this one. Thanks I will be calling corporate.

I felt obligated to write a review after seeing a recent Reddit post bashing an Anytime Fitness branch (not this one) for being difficult on cancelling memberships (and several posts underneath that original post saying the same about other branches). I want to state that this branch is NOTHING like this and I've never felt anything but gratefulness for being a former member here. First, I would also often go during off hours and often ran into a cleaning person (pre-pandemic) so they definitely stay on top of their cleaning. Most importantly, I paused my membership for almost a YEAR (even though there's supposed to be a three month limit on membership pauses) when the pandemic hit. I'm supposed to be charged $10 a month to be on hold and I was never charged for that. When it was time to restart the membership again, I got a courteous phone call about 2-3 months in advance about restarting. I initially gave the okay for that when it covid was on the 'decline' and it seemed like it would be okay to go back a few months from that date...only for it to rear it's ugly head again. I forgot about this and three days after my card was charged, I called them to cancel my membership telling them I'm no longer comfortable going back and I'll just rejoin whenever all this is over. They gave me my money back (absolutely unheard of for a gym honestly) for that month, no questions asked. Absolutely unbelievable service. I can't say for sure that everyone should expect a refund of a late cancellation - that honestly seems like maybe a bit much to ask for. Either way, It's clear this place puts their members above their own interests. Whenever all this is over, expect this place to be the first place I rejoin (was considering other places at first since I've also moved recently).
