Great place to eat. We are still looking for outside seating and this place still has it through the cold months. They even have pictures tables in front of the covered patio is full. I'm not a beer lover but the friends we go with love the different brews. The pizza is amazing too. The crust is like hand tossed pizza. Many different flavors and toppings. From eggs and bacon and chorizo to thai. The place is always busy if that tells you anything. We frequent this place.

We hadn't been here in over a year, so we decided it was time. They were pretty busy but Barbie did a great job taking care of us. We had a few beers, Survival Blonde, Holiday Ale, Love Coffee Stout and a Game Day Pilsner. All were really good. My wife and I split a Cuban sandwich and they use stone ground mustard instead of just regular mustard and I'll say it was pretty good. Their homemade potato chips with parmesan were a good surprise. Always good food and beers here.

Pizza was a solid 9, service was a 10, beer was 11. There lunch specials was a solid deal for $10, which includes 8” pizza and a house or cesar salad.

What's not to love about Martin City Pizza and Taproom? I've never had a bad experience here. The Pub and Pizza place are two different restaurants and have different menus but are I couldn't find the pub which is where my pictures of from. I've been to both and feel the same love for each. I haven't had a bad thing after multiple visits, but my personal favorite on the pizza side is the Apple in Italy or Wild Mushroom Pizza, and a Caesar salad. My pic from the pub is the Woodsman burger. I haven't had the Beeramisu, but I've heard it's outstanding. There's plenty of room to sit, games are full view, has a good vibe, and the staff is great. Martin City is on the highlight reel of up and coming South KC as well.
