What an intimate venue! National Sawdust is a great place to go see artists from around the world in small crowds. The main standing area is only about 20' deep so you are close to the artist wherever you stand. There's a balcony if that's your vibe, as well as a very reasonably priced bar. They survive off donations so if you end up enjoying a show, kick a few bucks their way.

A unique an inspiring space! I just saw a piece produced by the Center for Contemporary Opera called We, the Innumerable written by the award winning female Iranian Composer Niloufar Nourbackhsh. about an Iranian woman imprisoned for her and her husband's participation in a protest and her heroic journey, a story that mirrors current events. What a huge coincidence with the current protests in Iran! It was even conducted by a Grammy Nominated conductor Sara Jobin. The space was so unique and the acoustics was great!
