Rudely told that I had to have a car registered in my name to take in a couple of pounds of bottles and cans. Anything to divide and exclude by class. Homeless is the USA eupimism for the caste of Untouchable ones. F 'em. They can't take my cans then they can pound sand. Which they should have plenty of because I returned in my car and every can I had filled half way with used kitty litter.

They do this to prevent the homeless and other low income people to come recycle!!! Do not give them your service no one deserves to have a business when they can’t even respect the locals!

After being closed for 2 years I started coming again , I love this recycling center , the workers there are young and helpful . They have good pricing on CRV material . Aluminum cans are 2$ the pound (haven’t found that price anywhere else near the downtown la area). Now you have to come driving in a vehicle to get service . Best part since before I had many problems with the homeless that would come recycle here , they would try to steal my recyclables when I wasn’t looking . Glad I don’t have to deal with that anymore .

I love this place pays better then everyone one else (do your hw) and I love that they don't accept walk-ins these crackheads sorry I mean "homeless", I was with my wife and daughter when they did accept them and this bum pulled his pants down my 6 year old saw him and it was infuriating. So I'm glad they made it family friendly.

I don't think there is a limit as to last time i went (08-11-2020 @ 11:02 am) I took 3 black 45 gallon bags of crv (gatorade/water bottles- plastic), 1 bag of aluminum cans, 3 tall kitchen white bags of milk plastic containers, 3 tall kitchen white bags of plastic bottles non crv, and 1/4 of a white bag of glass. Note they don't take metal (dog food cans, tuna cans etc.) But they will let you know where to take those.
1.96 or 2.00
It will be turned away. This recycling center only takes aluminum and plastics. They will refer you to C & M Metals on East 24th Street
We are open today
We don't take metal at the moment, just bottles and cans.
Oo ok cuz I went 3 months ago and u take my cooper have like 400 pounds clean
Not at the moment, sometime in February 2019 we will start buying Metals again.
