I have attended several dinners that were catered by Top Spot. The food was delicious and the servers were professional and courteous. I definitely recommend them if someone needs to hire a caterer.

Wanted to like it... We were traveling and needed to stop for a late lunch - read some reviews and decided to give this place a try. It was in between lunch and dinner hour and the parking lot was packed, which seemed to be a positive sign. Decent amount of menu choices and the sweet tea is southern sweet. Perhaps some of our disappointment could be chalked up to how busy they were, but the amount of time to get our food was long and the floors had used napkins, straws, and food pieces on them. The table at our booth was sticky, and we had to ask for napkins and another set of silverware because only some of our group had them. As for the food, I had the meatloaf sandwich and it was excellent - probably one of the best I've ever had. Some in our group had burgers and said they were just ok. One person had the country steak and said it was tough, not much meat, and swimming in gravy. There were some decent options on side dishes and those portions are on the small side. It was just ok. We expected more based on the claim that this was a "can't miss" eatery.

We ate here twice in the same vacation, once on the way down and again on the way back. The chicken and dumplings is super tasty, I had it both times. Hubby had baked steak and said it was great too. The rolls were really good as well. Portion were generous and the mashed potatoes were real. Wish I would have had room for dessert because they had a good selection of lies and cobblers.
