Truly a resort experience. Administrative help always available, with a smile. Maintence checks done periodically. Upkeep of lawns impeccable. Highly recomment these apartments.

I have been a resident at Acqua apartments in Petersburg for four months. The entire staff are the most polite, efficient and friendly group of staff I have ever encountered when handling business.. I observed how they keep the grounds and buildings clean and free of debris.. I was at the trash compactor one day attempting to dispose of my trash when one of the workers came over to assist me with removing trash bags from my car and he put them in the compactor for me. Kudos! He went above and beyond his daily duties. The office staff I llove, sometimes I just like stopping in just to say hi”. My personal testimony is no matter what my concerns are they will get it done in an efficient manner. I will like to thank you all for your excellent service here at 1200 Acqua.

Complex itself is nice enough but the hidden fees they hit you with throughout (especially once you move out) are so egregious it'll drive you broke (i.e. $275 painting fee to fill nail holes left from hanging picture frames). Also went the final 6 months of my lease without the internet I was paying for (during the work from home era, mind you). Their final comment to me was "if ours isn't good enough you can buy your own". Oh yeah, then when I moved out they charged me $37.50 to disconnect the internet that didn't work. If you're military looking for a short term lease you're better off trying Independence Place. I have many friends there who never had to deal with fees like this or having all their public amenities closed indefinitely.

So the staff was very nice to me! However, prior to arriving to the area, I had put $200 down on an apartment, for them to then tell me that the apartment was no longer available and they wouldn't have any more until well after I arrived. I called to cancel the apartment... never saw that $200 again. Now I'm here, I go to get approved for an apartment... but what do you know, I have to put down $200 once again! Then to later get denied and then have to wait 3 weeks for my check to come in sometime?? What about the first $200?
