Halal Guys was probably the best meal I've had in NYC, no kidding, even compares to $200 steak - I would choose The Halal Guys. We ordered combo platter, and the white sauce was so blessed.

Even after all these it is still great. We have a few locations here in Houston they are not even close to the original.

This is the original location. It tastes better than the franchise locations. Be sure to give it a try when you go to NYC.

Always delicious! A must-visit for us when we are in the city for a cheap and delicious meal.

No tables but there are stone benches nearby
Yes, Also this is the first one... This whole chain started from this place
Plastic
Yes it is, the guy who supply for almost all carts by side of road is just one guy.. the meat is halal (chicken and beef) in all of them
It really is halal. There are many wholesale providers throughout New York City
Yes. BTS love the original Halal Guys!
No home delivery service
Its 3 for Friday and satday..entry will not allow
gyro😍😍😋😋😋😋
The food is not spicy at all. They let you customize your spice level with extra sauces. The white sauce isn't really particularly spicy (depends on you of course) but creamy and garlicky rather...
Falafel over rice or a falafel pita sandwich are yout veggie options
Order combo (chicken and gyro) with rice and a plenty of white sauce and a can of soda to grease down and cold off from the hot sauce.
There is a number on Google but not sure if it works as this is a Street Cart and usually open late from what I recall
How do you handle yourself in high stress environments? We tend to have unruly customers that need to be disciplined. Often times, this results in a spanking. Have you had experience with this?
It's in NYC, so you would need to find a place to stop that truck. Not impossible, but not easy.
Not a restaurant just a cart
Yes
They Are open until 3 or 4 am , better to check their website
Can't make the same statement service always was prompt for last 20years
Yes 53rd and 6th the cart is open and in the east village on 14th street between 2nd and 1st ave the restaurant is also open for pick up or delivery
Middle eastern fellas busting their meat sacks all day long outside are rude? You should try their food
Its basically meat or falafel, lettuce, tomatoes--- if you get a gyro, its wrapped in a pita bread which is made of wheat, else you can go for a rice bowl....overall....no glutenfree option !!
No, they dont ! They do have water and sodas for purchase. There is a Starbucks just a couple of steps from where their food truck is !!
SW and SE corners of 53rd and 6th Ave. (They have two carts because theres usually a long line at each)
