I joined YouFit a few months ago and I come every day to the location off of Midlothian on my days off. I’ve lost 20lbs in the past 2 months by staying consistent. I love this gym! I just started taking the HIIT classes and I have the Premium membership which is $39.99/month. The staff are very friendly and helpful!

Incident Occurred 6/9/2019 ~ 11am to 1pm When I had one bad customer service experience with a Youfit employee (Employees Name Lilly) I shrugged it off and thought nothing of it. But what happened to me today, which was my second experience with her, I had to let it be known. I usually bring a gallon of water with me to the gym and Youfit has a “No Jugs on Gym floor policy, Jugs are a tripping hazard”, PLEASE SEE PHOTOS ATTACHED OF THE TRIPPING HAZARDS I WITNESSED DURING MY TWO HOUR WORKOUT. There was no staff re-racking weights or cleaning up weight area, this is more of a safety concern then a jug of water. Every other employee (Except Lilly) that works at this Youfit location has allowed me to leave my jug of water at the front desk while I work out. Not only did Lilly tell me that I could not leave my jug at the front desk, but she was also extremely rude and stern when telling me about the policy. Even though she was rude all of what she said was completely okay, I had absolutely no problem with her enforcing their company’s policy. HERE IS WHERE THE STORY TAKES A TURN FOR THE WORST. Lilly was escorting another gym member through the gym. This member also had a jug of water. When this member started to workout, Lilly took his jug of water and she kept it at the front desk. When I brought this to Lilly attention, her response: “He is a new member, therefore I can keep it at the front desk”. ALL MEMBERS SHOULD BE TREATED EXACTLY THE SAME, THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS! Just to add a little bit more to the story. There is an issue with Youfits water fountain. THE WATER TASTE AND SMELLS LIKE A WET DOG AND THIS COULD BE CAUSED BY BACTERIA GROWTH. I also brought this to Caitlyn’s attention and she stated there is a work order for that and that I can buy Youfits water if I don’t want to drink out of the fountain. They know they have a problem with the fountain and there is no signage telling gym members that there might be something wrong with the water. This “No Jugs on Gym floor, Jugs are a tripping hazard” policy is probably the dumbest thing I’ve experienced since I started working out over 30 years, it’s an inconvenience. Some people drink ½ gallon to a gallon of water during a workout. Due to this policy and of course the bad customer service, I will be canceling my gym membership as soon as my pre-payment term is finished. Just an FYI to any who are considering joining Youfit. Crunch Fitness at Chesterfield Towne Center allows Gallon Jugs.

Unfortunately no sauna, but they do have hot showers! Staff is amazing, give them a try!
