It seems that homeowners pay those companies (iBuyers) thousands more to avoid a hardly existent "inconvenience." Properties that are priced right and in good condition often go under contract within a few days here, so the whole idea about presenting offers without seeing the home is often nonsense, rarely worth the actual fees paid in any of those scenarios in my humble opinion. You see, iBuyers don't advertise the details of their guaranteed offers, the requirement that the property always be in pristine condition, available for showings at all times or the requirement that the seller reduce the list price at the iBuyer's request (which could come weekly) and they cash in since many sellers don't understand the contract terms. While some iBuyers will make offers close to what the property is worth, they often return with ridiculous repair requests, transaction fees, and more, making the sale more costly so that they can make YOUR money on their sale. I get that money for YOU.
