Love the Book House! They have a huge inventory and the owner is a great resource. If you don't find what you're looking for she'll get it for you. A cozy spot to spend time looking about for new books to love. It's a bit of a drive for me but I'll definitely go back bc I've missed visiting book stores during the lockdown. Get out and support a terrific woman-owned, small business.

Cool spot but if clutter & disorganization challenge your peace, I'd wait until they finish reorganizing before going (she said it would be right in a "few weeks" though). Pros: The employee was nice and helpful, selection was large (cheesy and maybe cheesier romance novels are abundant) & the classic book options were cool, it's close to home & a library (jic) Cons: a cluttered, disorganized mess, stacks of books under the wrong headings everywhere so finding anything other than crime & romance is a challenge; some used book prices are absurd(ly high for what they are) sooo many romance novels! cobwebs...everywhere & a couple dead "bugs" (you know which ones. Hint: they love book glue & other gross s*** 🪳) at least they were dead 😬 I'll go back & update if it'a changed, it has a lot of character and potential
