Ask a rabbi? I think Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is the only chain at which I've seen "certified kosher' signs...
You right most servers won't say much , i think I have been a bit lucky because the one I frecuent does say thank you and your welcome, I hope you have better experience next time .
