We had such a great time last week kayaking with Outer Island Excursions. Padding wasn't overly hard. We saw seals, star fish, crab. Definitely recommend this trip to families like ours!

A whale of a time! People were fantastic and we saw mother and baby humpback! Plus sea lions! And then strangely African deer and mountain goats that was left on Safari Island. The Orcas are gorgeous! Don’t hesitate to take this trip it was a highlight! Oh and we got to see a boat called the Prince of Whales, which made my day!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with the crew on our whale watching tour. The captain, Drew, kept us informed and he was funny and courteous. The crew was definitely spot on with their knowledge of the area, history of the islands and always made sure all questions were answered. We did get to see a gray whale! That was totally awesome! Thanks so much for our awesome trip. We highly recommend Outer Island Excursions to anyone visiting Orcas Island 100%. We will definitely be back, hopefully to see some Orcas.

We didn't see any whales but I'm still giving it five stars because the company was great to work with and our crew was great. (Benson was our driver, Can't remember our marine lady, she was very knowledgeable though) Plus it's not their fault if the whales don't show up. They truly did everything they could to make it happen. It didn't help that Canadian borders were still closed during our visit 🤷 which also made their guarantee void. We still got to see harbor seals, what felt like a zillion bald eagles, sitka deer, bull kelp & dolphins (that would be my only compliant, they didn't slow down for the dolphins at all and while on a normal day that's probably fine I'd have appreciated it with no whale sightings and being from inland). Overall still a great experience! Beautiful area of the country and fun to just be on the water. While I won't be back soon, I'd go back again when we are out there next.
