Lots of selection, huge variety of games and titles. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a sweet deal and great employees. 🤘🏼

Last week I went there for my first time to get some games resurfaced. It was a pleasant experience the worker, Asher? I think was the name I'm very bad at remembering them, was very helpful and was amazing to talk to. The resurfacing process took about 30 min or less (I brought in 8 games two of which were very scratched) and the entire time I browsed and talked there is just so much in this shop. I was surprised to see not only games from limited run/ Super rare games (limited released games from online companies) but also games from overseas. The prices were very decent and honestly a deal at times. I loved this place and very much worth the hour long drive. I will be back to either resurface or buy games thank you!

Condescending, rude, little jerk. We offered the associate two games for $100. These games are both limited edition never opened and recent prices via eBay sold (not listed) for $80-100 each. As we were trying to negotiate a price, he told me to look at eBay (which I was doing) and rudely told me to look at sold price not what the game was listed at (I was looking at sold not listed prices). We tried to negotiate and then he hung up once we asked a simple question. He offered $30. Go to GameStop and don’t waste your time with these little guys. They both offer slap in the face prices except GameStop won’t give you attitude like a high school girl who didn’t make the cheer team. We called top of the line games right after. They were so friendly, honest and explained why our games could go for a range between $60 to $100 each!! Can someone say #SCORE

Hawthorne Game Exchange is really an awesome video game store! I have lived in the Tabor area for a long time and was a patron at the previous business at this location CD/Game Xchange for years, they’re gone now and Hawthorne Game Exchange has opened with a focus on mainly video games! I’m talkin new games, old games, retro game cartridges, import Japanese games, controllers, used video game consoles, unique odds n ends and even video game music on vinyl records!! From the moment I walked into the store I had a BIG smile on my face seeing all the old school games I have all those golden memories of growing up and beyond. 🎮 I met a staff member Christina - she is totally awesome & very helpful! I can truly tell she’s passionate about gaming! She really made me feel welcome and was someone I could immediately relate with about gaming plus she really made my overall first experience that much More Memorable!! 👏🏾 I left with a handful of great ol titles from NES, SNES, SEGA Genesis and Game Gear and a wholesome feeling on my first visit! 🕹 This is the kind of video game shop that we need in our city - it really has the personal connection that is completely lost when shopping online. The human interaction. Being able to physically browse the cartridges hanging on the rack. Admiring the awesome retro artworks on the labels. Having experts who are friendly and stoked to be helpful. Not condescending or too cool to be bothered. This is my new Favorite game store in town! I plan on coming back many more times because it’s just that good!! Thank You HGE! 👾👾👾

It's different owner and the stores now called Hawthorne game exchange
Hello! We are not currently repairing PS4s in the shop, but thank you for checking with us.
They are limited in what kind of electronics the buy and sell. Mainly they only deal with video game electronics.
Yes they will buy games from you as long as they are in good condition and dont have to many copies of the games your trying to sell.
When you bring in games, they give you one amount for cash, and a higher amount for trade. I have had great experience trading games I no longer want for different titles.
My guess is they do not sell TV antennas, try Goodwill or Salvation Army, but most shopping stores do carry them.
Their inventory is pretty expansive. They're likely to have what you want cheap.
Depends but usually no more than $10-$15.00
