We love this place. Our older home wouldn't be what it is without these guys. Both the Tacoma and Seattle locations are worth visits.

A bit overpriced but the staff is very helpful and it's a great place to spend some wandering time you never know what you'll find. Often there are good deals and often there are some very questionable deals. Measure often and come prepared to haul. A quick look online before shopping for anything particular also a great tool.

I always head to Second Use when I’m looking for remodeling items for Vintage properties. They have a great variety of old plumbing parts and fixtures, lots of lighting and tons of building supplies. I can usually find stuff for mid-century modern homes but also craftsman and Victorian.

The best way to get rid of items in your garage or when doing a remodel. Also freaking awesome to get a screaming deal on items too. Vanity? Check. Just what I needed. Grohe faucet for $15? Check! Wood floor board to match those in my 1901 house? Yep. The website is always up-to-date with new items too, which has to a logistical nightmare. Not sure how they do it. Love this place and reuse is the right thing to do. They'll even come to your house and remove items for you. No charge! The pictures are of a vanities journey from discovery on their website, to going home in the back of my car, to sat in the garage ready for install in a downstairs bathroom. $65. Seriously.

Last place I recall seeing any was at the Habitat store in Tacoma. Second Use has a decent selection that changes often, and they do keep their web inventory up to date.
I used second hand paint
Masks required, sanitizer available, single use masks available, cough barriers in place at register and help desk, social distancing signs all around store, 6 ft feet markings on floor at help desk and check out. Social distancing practiced by employees and almost all shoppers. Sanitizer available at payment pin pads.
The only thing we charge to recycle is latex paint. All other materials dropped off at our stores are free, and sometimes you can earn money or store credit. We also accept donations on behalf of Habitat for Humanity. Please see our acceptance policies to know if your wood, or other materials, is something we can take. https://www.seconduse.com/about/acceptance-policies/
Check their website?
Our salvage services are always free! We do preview the job and can only provide this service if the value of the materials we take financially makes sense. https://www.seconduse.com/salvage/
Yes sometimes they do just depends
Check out seconduse.com and click on the inventory button to view their current inventory. Also check if the stock can be found in their Seattle or Tacoma store by looking at the details at the bottom of the page.
They dont buy materials you donate them
Or call or visit. They have a ton of stuff not on their website.
Their online inventory is quite accurate, you can even put a hold on anything you find.
Call them they might have one.or try home depot
They have a bigger store location over in Tacoma that has a larger selection of materials.
They've got used appliances, but not an inventory of parts.
They typically have them, but always good to call. I believe you can check inventory online as well.
Not sure what they pay, but they do pick up. Give them a call, let them come see what you have to offer
