The location was great, the price was not bad comparatively and the room was clean and roomy. Let me start with the booking. Trying to book online (which offered a cheaper price) was impossible if you are trying to utilize a military discount. I did call and was able to book, but not at the discounted rate. The neighborhood looked a little shady. When we pulled up I was apprehensive, but the secured parking was nice at an additional cost per night. They would not waive parking, even with a disabled placard. Never mind being a disabled Veteran. That was one of my biggest gripes. There is absolutely NO WHERE to park on the street without your vehicle possibly being towed. The staff was nice and even recommended places to eat locally. There wasn't any complimentary water and I was offered a bottle for $1. I just went next door to the grocery store and bought a case for $4. The room was clean and spacious with fridge and microwave. AC was on point and cable was working well. The next item of contention was the "quick breakfast offered". Ouch, the coffee was, well it wasn't. The bagels and pastries looked dry and old and no milk was offered for the oatmeal. Yeah, Starbucks was luckily next door in the grocery store. Anyhoot, I would stay again, but would not count on breakfast, coffee, water or free parking. Maybe this is something the owners can work on. BTW there was only (1) disabled parking spot.

Super impressed with this place for the price. Massive room with King Size beds. Big Bathroom, with a nice shower. Great central location, and friendly staff. Safe. Comfortable. Affordable. Couple minor things, that I didn't think worth removing a star for: Room cleaning service was a little bit slow, but they do an excellent job, so if you're out all day it's not a bother. It's on a fairly busy street in LA so there's sirens and helicopter sounds through the night. But you can't really avoid that in LA. Also there's some sound leakage from the door, you can hear people clearly in the outside going to their rooms. But not a problem really.

Average. It's ok for a night or two, but a bit expensive for what it offers. They have nice staff and clean rooms. However, it was quite noisy because the walls are extremely thin. The breakfast isn't worth mentioning, it's more of a coffee to go plus a pre-packaged snack. The location is okay if you want to go to Hollywood Blvd.

Staff are all wonderful. Room was well fitted and comfortable. Location was great for us; near the Thai Consulate and next door to Pavilions grocery store. There were noise and building code issues in our Accessible room 107, however, that people should know about. The smoke detector had a plastic bag over it, possibly from a recent construction retrofit of the room. It happens, but that's a fire-life-safety issue. Management needs to check every room IMMEDIATELY. The switches were too high for ADA so it seems the work-around was to install occupancy sensors. Fine for us but the light goes off in the toilet/shower room leaving people in the dark because the occ sensor is out in the sink/kitchenette area. If someone was in the accessible shower and off their wheelchair, this is a safety issue. There's a blank plate in the toilet/shower room that may be a good location for a second occupancy sensor. No problem for us, so we didn't complain. The refrigerator door is hinged so it would be inaccessible for anyone in a wheelchair. The counter should have been designed with the refer on the right or install a hinge-left refer. No problem for us but the sink blocks wheelchair roll-up to the fridge. The bathroom has grab bars and a turning circle. The kitchenette is nice but the hotel doesn't have a hot water kettle even upon request. But the set up is very nice. We really liked it, no complaints The 1 star deduction was for noise. The room above us had 2 large kids running and bouncing a ball. The breezeway above is right over our room and it was very loud, jarring at times. Before that family there was a woman whose phone conversation was unavoidably overheard. We tried to turn up the TV to allow privacy but we still heard every word. Sound-proofing the floor-ceiling separation is expensive, I understand that. Two clothes hangers was skimpy.
