I took the intro to handguns for ladies class tonight. This class is excellent. The instructors were welcoming and great at helping all of us feel confident and comfortable handling several different types of handguns. They were down to earth and not intimidating at all. There is a classroom part and a shooting part on the range. It was way more fun than I expected and I’m excited to take more classes and practice more. Awesome location and great staff.

Nice facility, good selection of guns and accessories. Just overpriced on Firearms. I bought the same gun at HH for over $300.00 less.

First time doing a hand fitting & target training 1:1 (on different days) was perfect. Will is such a great and knowledgeable guy. He doesn't make you feel less than because you're a woman or because you don't know something. 10/10 recommend When purchasing my firearm today I was with Robert (not 100%) that's his name but the bald guy who does the background info. His mannerisms were horrible, very dull and didn't seem to really want to engage; atleast until a man came to inquire about a firearm. We've actually had encounters everytime I've came and they were all the same. He may need customer service training. Overall good business. Will is great

As someone who visits there a lot, I have had no issues with open carry. As long as you come in with the weapon holstered, and it remains so until you enter a range, there is generally not any problem.
No archery. Guns only.
Incredibly first time friendly. No, just let the RSOs know that it’s your first time!
No. But you can avoid waiting by going week days and evenings. If the weather is funky on the weekends, you can expect a crowd. If you don't mind waiting, the restaurant is very good !!
Hello, we do not have an age requirement. Rather, we have a height requirement. Shooters must 48 inches (4 Feet) to shoot on the range. Thanks for ask
James, Please follow this link to our range pricing. Have a great day. https://www.wilshiregun.com/the-range
Yes, Just be aware that steal core ammo is not allowed. It will damage the backstop of the range.
Wilshire Gun does not currently offer any layaway options.
Yes, they offer a good variety of rentals and sell the necessary ammunition to shoot. What's REALLY COOL about Wilshire, is that they offer a Gun Fitting session for $50. You work with an associate picking out a gun that you really like from 5 or 6 guns you'd like to try out. That way you can actually see how you shoot with the guns you try. IF you end up buying one of the guns you like from the gun fitting session, they'll apply your $50 towards the price of your purchase. Pretty cool deal actually! The staff was ALWAYS friendly, the food in the cafe was pretty good, and the Executive Suite/Room upstairs totally rocks! Cigars, cocktails, and big screens to watch the games. Loved Wilshire and miss it dearly! I was a member there for three years!
We currently do not offer layaway.
Yes, they rent full auto and shoot it out on the lanes so they should let you shoot your own. Hmu when u go, I wanna get in on that. Lol
Yes, you can shoot AR pistols here.
Hello, Our courses can be found here: https://www.wilshiregun.com/course-calendar
That is something Wilshire Gun has always been great about. Unless it's a one off special event class or training, you can always pick another date if something came up causing you to miss your scheduled date or time.
Yes. They dont know how Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends will go, but yes.
Not to mention there’s no such thing as an “open carry license”. Not in Oklahoma at least. “Don’t have” not “don’t got”. Politicians already come down on gun-owning law-abiding citizens with statements about “bullet buttons that make a combat assault killing rifle 15 go from single fire to shooting 1,000 rounds in one second”. Next they’ll call us illiterate white trash that eat babies and crayons and I’m tired of being confused for being a Marine.
Just no steel casings, the range can’t use those for their reloads and/or too lazy to separate them from the brass
If you go to their website the cost are posted. As far as for the license, it is on the osbi website
25 & 35 yard lanes – $15/hour 2nd – 3rd person – $8/hour 101 yard lanes – $28/hour 2nd – 3rd person – $15/hour
Brenda is correct about the age to actually shoot. 10, with someone over 21. But, they welcome children of any age to the facility. Never to young to start getting kids introduced to the shooting culture/lifestyle.
Sooner State Pawn, (3 Locations) not as big a selection as Big Boys, but also not the big Price as Big Boys, and they will order about anything.
If you can go to Dallas, Bass Pro has a 300 yard tube under the store.
