I’ve been to many gyms around Ohio and fitworks Parma is the most amazing one I’ve been to! The workers are so nice and the people who attend the gym are always so sweet. The owners and personal trainers are also amazing. I 100% recommend if you want a peaceful/fun place to workout :)

Similar to another review I just read. My dad had a membership at bally's years ago, fitworks bought them out. My dad was diagnosed with a terminal illness earlier this year so I tried cancelling his membership for him. Everyone I talked to kept giving me different numbers to call to have it cancelled. One lady was finally trying to help, but could not find him in the system. Interesting that they kept charging his account every month but couldn't find him in the system. I've also sent multiple emails with no response. My dad passed on Oct 9th, 9 days ago. Yesterday, Oct 17th, they charged a dead man's account. I'm furious.

*Updated to 5 stars, the supportive staff took care of it amazingly!!!! I love Fitworks! I’m a younger powerlifting female who balances the gym, work, college, and socializing. I came from Planet Fitness, I was active there for over a year or so but I needed more free weight options. I first signed up for the 7 day free trial and got an amazing tour. I was super interested and excited to become a new member. I made my best friend get a membership too and we have so much fun. I was having a good experience daily until recently I was on a machine working out and in between one of my reps, I changed my playlist and sent a quick text to my mom then continued. This older lady got on the machine next to me, pointed at me, and started heavily yelling with an attitude demanding me to get off of the machine. Asking why I was “texting” for so long even though it couldn’t of been longer than a single minute. I was so confused and overwhelmed. It was early in the morning and I didn’t have enough energy to really communicate with her so I didn’t finish my reps and just got off the machine. I don’t think she went on the machine and she followed me to the upper part of the gym and was staring at me. It was making me feel uncomfortable but I finished my workout anyways and quickly stretched. I went to the locker room to pack up and take a mirror picture, she walked in making comments under her breath I couldn’t understand. I reported her to the front desk as I was about to leave and the two ladies there were super nice and understanding. I was a little shook up from the experience considering no one has approached me that rudely in a gym before. I’ve only been a member for 2 months and I’m hoping to never experience that again. Besides that, everything’s all good!
