This place is a joke. Not sure what they do here. Need a procedure and was referred somewhere else unless i wanted extracted. Came back as walk in and was told I have to schedule for extraction. When I got to the appt i had to wait over an hour to be seen. When i finally seen i was referred somewhere else to have pulled. Don't waist your time because they sure waisted mine playing games. So unprofessional. Im feeling as though he only wants to do certain procedures make a quick buck. Leave this place alone. Find another place to patronize. Your welcome.

Love this place. Been coming here for over 5 years and not one complain. Everyone's sweet and a respectable wait time (To the other people complaining in the reviews about waiting it's a Dentist Office with a million other people coming in and out like your gonna have to wait.)

My appointment was supposed to be 6 months ago. I was called and told that because the dentist wasn't in that day it needed to be rescheduled. The soonest they had available was the end of September. I came at my schedule time and waited two hours in the waiting area. Then it took one hour for a cleaning and X-ray. I shouldn't have to take four hours off work just to have my teeth cleaned. This is how it's been every time I've come. Also, I've seen a new dentist each time I get a cleaning. The only consistency at this office is the long wait time. I plan to switch dental offices.

Have you been taking anything with aspirin in it? This will thin the blood and cause excessive bleeding. Smoking, drinking from a straw, drinking carbonated drinks (beer, pop, ect.), sucking on candy, can cause a clot to come out and prevent another to form.

don't go to Akron Family Dental for nothing don't even take your children there take your children to Small Smiles they do great work there I took my children there but I took my son here at Akron Family Dental and he was 25 years old they look at they took an X-ray of his teeth and told him that he had eight baby teeth that was rotten and that they needed to be pulled out or phild I had went and took my son to a different doctor and had got a second opinion on it and he does not have 8 cavities his teeth are fine that Akron Family Dental they make pain for your teeth and have you come back that's how they get paid be careful cuz they do root canals on your kids and then go root canals only last for 5 years give or take 5 to 6 years and then that tooth breaks and then you wind up losing that tooth mask questions and if they can't answer your question get another opinion
