"No hassle returns", my foot. Be prepared to be scoffed and snarled at by the clerk if you dare to bring in a return. "This is from last month!" Yeah and what about it? Perhaps clerk is unfamiliar with the definition of "to hassle", because that's exactly what clerk did: hassle me about my return. Presenting original receipt to return defective or mismarked items in unused condition 3 weeks after purchase? Doesn't matter! Returning plants in new and cared for condition 3 weeks after purchase with original receipt that says "plants eligible for refund or exchange within 90 days of purchase"? You derelict, how dare you try to return them after 21 days?!! Scoffing employee serves you a helping full of hassle with your return. You shall stand there next to said scoffing employee waiting for manager approval. You will overhear scoffing employee jabber a list of reasons why the return is perceived to be suspect. No one will offer you an explanatIon why you are deemed shady. You must simply wait, lest they decide no return will be granted. Scoffing employee will bark at you to sign your name when you are obviously flummoxed about the entire interaction. This is the new McClendon's apparently. Making paying customers feel like they're shifty, shady scammers for availing themselves of a return option that is proudly touted on every receipt is a bizarre business model indeed. Hiring nasty scoffers to work in public facing positions is also a rather interesting choice. Suggestion to management: Fix the language on the receipt because what is on there currently is a lie. "No hassle returns and exchange policy. Your original receipt guarantees it." Complete poppycock.

Negative stars if I could. I'm a 41 year old general contractor/business owner. My current job site is just a couple blocks away from this mclendons. As opposed to driving there with the gas the way it is I walk to get a few things. Two out of three times not even 2 minutes into the store I have been followed around and harassed as if I'm a thief. When they ask I continue to tell them, "no I do not need help, thank you." After the third time being asked if I need help by the same lady within less than 10 minutes, I finally replied "I'm a paying customer would you like to hold my hand while I shop?" She continued to follow me, knowingly glare at me and ask me if I am sure I don't need help. I am beyond offended and will gladly pay $6/ gallon and drive to Home Depot from now on. They are too expensive to deal with that much negative attention anyway.

It takes a lot to achieve such a low rating but boy is it deserved. I was on the job and the truck is in the shop. I need some Ethernet cable. Google hardware store and McLendon pops up. I know this place. I never shop here but it was closest. I walk through the store which has isle numbers but no obvious descriptions of products. I approach a worker to ask where the Ethernet cable is and he tells me isle 44. Then back to his scintillating conversation about smoking cigars. Of course, I cannot find what I want. I ask the clerk who probably could not tell me where to find a nail, and she asks the other worker where the ethanol cable is. Really? Are they that dim? I am directed to isle 42. 1 or 2 open boxes, nothing premade. While waiting for the mythological assistance to come, I walked out and went to the big box store. In and out in 3 minutes with exactly what I needed. How this company keeps it's doors open is a mystery based on this experience. Hopefully it is not representative of the entire business. I will happily drive farther to avoid a repeat of today's events but I will think twice before attempting to patronize McClendon hardware.

Can you rephrase the question?
Yes they do. Available at the tool desk.
They used to limit number of people but haven't seen that in a while. They have 6' spacing stickers on floor and plexiglass barriers to protect cashiers.
Hi Ben, you can search open jobs and apply online through our website: https://www.mclendons.com/Careers Hope that helps with your question!
I'd call or stop in, I don't know if their employees regularly check Google Maps for questions. Regular folks see these questions and answer them, sometimes.
Yes they have some as a smaller location in white center. Try the Renton location.
It's probably best to call the store directly and ask this question since a Google application would not know.
I don't think that McLendons rents tools but Center Tools are really helpful and they have a variety of tools for renting. 9444 Delridge Way SW, Seattle, WA 98106
