I had a great first visit with my dr....and then couldn't get any information on test results. Have tried calling and leaving messages 4 times. They have had my results for 4 days and no one has even looked at them yet to my knowledge. I was really excited to have a good experience, but now its just stressful again

Not the best, not the worst. It's the kind of service I guess you would expect from a community dental clinic. The staff was nice, at least, which is why I give 3 stars. But the service I received was sub-par compared to another private-practice dentist I've been to. Here, they gave me 4 bitewing x-rays but the hygienist did them wrong. Two of them didn't show the rear-most molars. Instead of fixing her work or asking me if I'd like them redone, she just accepted them. And so did the dentist! When u asked for digital copies of the x-rays, I was told they couldn't do that, so instead they printed copies. The print quality was terrible. Every patient has a right to have diagnosic-quality copies of their x-rays as well as their entire medical record, and these x-ray copies were definitely not diagnostic quality (which a second opinion from another dentist outside this clinic confirmed for me). I confronted them about it, and they agreed to email me "better" digital copies of the x-rays. You know what they did? They sent me photos of the x-rays that looked exactly the same as the printout copies I had been given. Still poor quality, still not diagnostic quality. I have no idea where the originals went, nor why I can't have good images of them. It's ironic because I know better quality images exist; I saw them right after they took the x-rays. The dentist did an okay job but she told me I needed 4 fillings. I was shocked because 6 months ago another dentist told me I didn't need any. I sought a second opinion and that second dentist could not find the 4th tooth that needed a filling. So looks like this clinic is really trying to milk the insurance company for all it's worth and giving unnecessary treatments. Also, the first appointment was just x-rays and exam. I was told they had to do a routine cleaning on a separate appointment, and the fillings on yet another separate appointment. This is so inconvenient! Ain't nobody got time for that. I won't be going back. Even though they don't accept my insurance anymore, I'm just gonna go to my prior dentist and pay out of pocket rather than get sub-par treatment at this place.

Hygienist in a hurry skipped right side of mouth while cleaning not given a date for next appointment for cleaning not professional at all.

I believe that axesspointe works on a sliding scale. But, I would say that you really need to see about getting Medicaid.
I am not sure about walk-ins, but you can call the office and ask about it.
Yes. They have a sliding scale fee.
