Is it difficult to find parking near the cathedral for the midday weekday Mass?

Gary Coulter | Nov 7, 2018
Cathedral of the Sacred Heart | Nov 7, 2018

Gary, For the weekday Mass, the parking on the one way street (Cathedral Place) that runs around the right side and back of the Cathedral is reserved for Mass attendees. Depending on the number of attendees or whether any Cathedral events are taking place, these can sometimes fill up. If these spaces are full, there is metered two hour parking on South Cathedral Place/Floyd Avenue as well as W. Franklin St. There is also the VCU parking deck at the corner of Laurel St. and Main St. For weekend Masses, this parking is free if you scan the QR code (printed on the back of our bulletin) while leaving. On weekdays, there is a charge to park. I hope this helps!
