Very easy to miss the turn in because it's hidden in the spring with the trees and almost looks like a private drive. Dirt road is pretty rough at the moment, I'm not sure if it's that accessable by regular car. Surprising amount of people there for how tucked away it is. Heard lots of birds and the birding is probably excellent here but did not stay long enough to find out. Will enjoy visiting this place again on a more mild day, although there was tons of shade and tons of privacy.

Gravel road, but still accessible by regular passenger car. No bathrooms. Hunting trails. Parking for boat launch only.

Great place to enjoy the river

Convenient. Dirt road leading to it. Well maintained.

Ely for is about 4 rivet miles upstream from hunting run. Makes a laid back slow tubing trip to hunting run. Lots of flat water, 4 rapids spaced out, and can be very shallow in summer. Downstream of hunting run, Motts is 8.5 miles. Not tube friendly. Too long. Good paddling water. Motts to riverside drive in town is a great tubing trip. And from there to Old Mill Park is awesome too.
Yes there is a launch with steps
