The folks that own the place are wonderful, the prices are very reasonable, pet friendly, play ground for the kids, pull through sites are available, cabins for rent and very close to town for shopping needs. Also close to several state and national parks, like 'Colditz State Park.' (see below the waterfall there), Big South Fork National forest and Pickett state park. And just a few miles away is the former home and final resting place of WW1's most decorated veteran and Medal of Honor recipient Sergeant Alvin C. York. Whose heroic exploits garnered well deserved national praise and even a Hollywood movie was produced!

We stayed in the Studio cabin for 5 days. It was great. Right next to the ice cream and snow cone cottage and office. Everything we needed for the week was there. Very small and quaint campground in a small Tennessee city.

We stayed at Maple Hill this past weekend. Owners Ken & Val Edenfield remembered they owed us a credit of 2 nights stay. They not only made certain we used those, but comped us an extra free nights stay. Refused to take any payment for the 3rd night. Lovely family with lots of enthusiasm. Sno-Ball shack was a happening place this weekend in the heat. Full hook ups. Clean and attractive. Quiet and relaxing setting. We make it home base to visit friends in the area and recreate. It is convenient to four wheeling opportunities in the area such as Skinner Mountain WMA, Blackhouse Mountain, Pickett State Forest and on over into Wayne County Kentucky. We also love to stay there and camp and branch out to hike in Big South Fork. We use our tablets to look up area info online and there is free Wi-Fi. They have all that is important to us.

Small park with all the amenities needed. Little too close together. ..but doable . Laundry is 2 of each (w&d)..but we're clean &worked well. The campground hosts were very nice . The stand alone shower room was a added bonus. The rates are very good..used passport America 1/2 off one nite. Alvin C York state park is well worth the visit .
