This assisted living has went downhill ever since the new general manager was hired. The previous general manager had done a way better job managing this assisted living. The employees here are also overworked and having to fill in with everything that has to be done here because of staff shortage.

Our mother joined Aegis Living in Lynwood about nine months ago and we could not be happier. Mom has excellent support both physically and emotionally. Life is stressful during the pandemic and Aegis works hard to minimize the challenges and burdens. They maintain a limited lock down in place, with ample processes and restrictions - we only wish we could see mom more often. This is not a criticism - we are free to visit mom, but we stay at arms length to help protect mom and the Aegis community. Our in-person touch is now mostly by phone, with Aegis jumping in to support as needed. Aegis has risen to the challenge. They look after mom well. She often stays in her room - intentionally - so Aegis comes to her, checking in and providing companionship. Staff and managers stop by frequently to check in and share a story or two. Mom loves her room, the food and the attention. So we are all happy. Thank you Aegis. Doug

The entire crew at Aegis is professional, knowledge, personable and loving. They became family l. Our entire family appreciated the dedication they gave to our beloved Aunt Teresa. When transferred to Evergreen they came to see and comfort her. We love you Aegis!

Aegis Living communities are private pay only. If you would like some recommendations, please feel free to call us and we may be able to refer you to communities that do take Medicaid.
