Not only is this the most technology-forward dentistry practice I’ve ever been to, but also the staff is kind, skilled, and helpful. The front desk staff welcomes you with a smile and processes your information and appointments. They text to update you and answer your texts! Dr. Marcus and hygienist Carla are professional, knowledgeable, and fast. I felt guilty for not going to the dentist for a while (Covid) but they all made me feel at ease, filled a cavity, and quickly got me a new night guard. Go get your teeth checked!

Six months ago I made a cleaning appointment. The day before the appointment I received a phone call and email at 9am asking me to confirm by 11am or they would cancel my appointment. At 11:15am I received an email telling me that the appointment had been cancelled and the time given to someone else. I am a teacher and am with students between the hours of 8:30am-12pm, unable to check my cell phone or respond to personal emails. It is entirely unacceptable that after putting in a time off request, getting a sub, and writing sub plans, that they could cancel my appointment with so little notice.

As an individual that suffers from an anxiety disorder, I literally fell asleep during my cleaning today. I describe this cleaning as therapeutic in nature by Dr. Marshall. Her ability to provide a space of ease and comfort for me, priceless. I even asked if I could purchase a sweatshirt because I felt finally home! I can’t wait to go back, no kidding!

Questions & Answers

What is the best advice on how to deal with a rude and unprofessional front desk receptionist????

Don't get sucked into their drama. Rise above the rudeness. Arguing with a person like this is useless and will only frustrate you. Don't try talking over them. Don't try to plead your case. Just ask to speak to their Manager. Your answer to every question or comment this person makes should be, "I'd like to speak to your Manager. Thank you.". If they, themselves, are the Manager, then politely ask to speak with their Manager. Again, no arguing, just a mantra, "I'd like to speak to your Manager. Thank you." You'll be amazed how repeating the same phrase over and over knocks the wind out of idiots.
