My little Paisley loves Camp Bow Wow and the staff is amazing!

Our puppy (7 months) is enrolled in Camp Bow Wow's beginner training class. We had our first session this past Sunday. We thought participating in the doggie day care was a no brainer. We called CBW to find out what shots/vaccinations were required to participate. We went to our vet and provided the list of requirements, got the shots, paid the bill and called to make the appointment for the interview day. When we called CBW back to make the evaluation reservation, we mentioned that our dog is enrolled in the training classes on Sunday. They took our info and told us to be there the next morning at 9AM. Then an email confirmation was received that said check-in is at 8AM. Fast forward to the next morning, I'm there at 8AM. The woman at the front desk tells me that the appointment actually is for 9AM. The email CBW sends is a "default" email that always says 8AM, but it's wrong. She asks for the dog's info. While she is looking up our records, a dog being led into the building got away from their owner and came full bear at our dog. This didn't appear to be a happy/playful interaction, I honestly thought he was going to bite my dog. Drama and noise, but the dogs separate. When I ask if that dog participates in group play, the CBW rep assures me he's just "leash aggressive". Back to looking up the records and they don't have our vaccination records. I mention that we had emailed them over when we signed up for the training class, but not a problem, I can forward them again. Which I do. The woman at the desk looks at them and says these aren't sufficient. She says three treatments of distemper need to be administered to be "legal" (her words). I asked the CBW rep why the person who took our appointment the day before would not have told us all this. She says that unless we mentioned that we were already clients for training, they would have just thrown our appointment in the system as a new potential client without checking anything (which is at odds with the truth where we specifically mentioned our dog already comes there on Sundays for training). Takeaway ideas for CBW: 1. Fix your email confirmation. Putting the wrong time on the email and treating your prospective customers like they are the idiot for coming an hour early is kind of on you. 2. Confirm any appointment to ensure the paperwork is in order. You'll save a lot of dissatisfaction if you spell out in advance that it's not worth coming down for an evaluation because you're going to be denied at the front desk. The CBW rep who did the Sunday training was friendly and cheerful. However, night and day with the person I dealt with today. We since called our vet and they confirmed our dog is 7 months old, he needs 2 shots total, not the three mentioned by CBW. He will need the second distemper vaccine later this month. Hopefully this is just an isolated incident, but we have seriously considered finishing up the training classes we already paid CBW for and taking our business to a different doggie daycare provider.

Our dog loves this place. We love it because we feel safe leaving him when we go away. Win-win

Just bring food and any medicine. They really don't like blankets or rugs but if dog needs it. They will allow...cannot recommend this place more highly
Same price for all dogs, depends on if its half day - 6 hrs or less, or full day - 6+ hrs
