I’ve had 3 interactions with this service station and dealership. All of them have been bad. First was sold a car where they hid the fact it didn’t have a second key. Then I found out that the key I did have was missing the manual key. I never did receive a key so as soon as the vehicle battery died I was locked out. Next it took over two weeks to get an estimate for a key and programming emailed over to me when we needed to get it replaced. Finally, I just went in and had to request multiple times to get the paperwork required for a brought in so I could submit to insurance. Then they charged me twice to diagnose the issue I brought in which I specifically asked to be resolved.

Chandler was great I got checked in easily, he provided regular updates on the status of my vehicle and provided transportation to the dealer from my job once I got off work

Normally, cars are serviced when they are traded in. Sometimes the service indicator was not reset when that service occurred. There should be a record of the service available under your vehicle's history attached to your name.

i was gonna purchase a used rang rover but was told the service light came on due to an oil change needed and all i need to do is take to dealership and have the light reset is there a fee for this and is this true

If you were purchasing from the dealership they would need to have that corrected before you buy the car. If you're buying from a private party I'd take it in for an inspection before buying anyway and there would be a fee based on what all you have them do.
